Learn moreHelix Painting gives back.
We team up with great causes by donating our painting services to energize and restore community centers and nonprofit spaces. We're grateful for the work these organizations do, and we believe their investment in our communities makes Colorado a better place to live.

Proud to support
The organizations we paint for.
Named organizations, not a stock list. If one of these is doing work you care about, go and support them directly.
Why we donate crew time.
A community center with peeling walls tells the people who walk in that nobody is looking after them. That is the part we can fix. Every year we set aside crew time to repaint spaces run by organizations that spend their money on people rather than paint.
The work we completed for Christ's Body Ministries, a nonprofit serving Denver's homeless population, is still the project our owner Vanessa names first when anyone asks what she is proudest of.

Know a space that needs a fresh coat?
Nominations come from neighbors more often than from the organizations themselves. Tell us who you have in mind.
We read every nomination that comes in.
Three ways to help
Nominate a space
Know a nonprofit, community center or neighbor whose space needs a fresh coat? Tell us about them. We review every nomination that comes in.

Businesses can sponsor materials or fund a full project. We handle the labor and the coordination, and your sponsorship stays visible in your own community.

The best nominations come from neighbors. If you know an organization doing good work in Denver, point them our way.

Nonprofits, community centers, schools, or a neighbor going through a hard stretch. Tell us what the space is and why it matters, and we will reach out to the ones we are able to take on.
Sponsoring rather than nominating? Use the same form and pick “Sponsoring, not nominating” so it reaches the right person.

Questions, answered.
How the nomination and sponsorship side of Helix works.
Use the nomination form on this page. Tell us who you are nominating, what the space is, and why it matters to the community. We review every nomination and reach out to the ones we can take on.
Nonprofits and community centers are where most of our donated work goes, but we also take on individual households facing hardship when a neighbor nominates them.
Yes. Businesses can sponsor materials or a full project, and we will handle the labor and coordination. It is a straightforward way to put a sponsorship budget somewhere visible in your own community.
We look at community impact, the condition of the space, and what we can realistically fit around our paid schedule. We would rather do a handful of projects properly than spread ourselves thin.
We are almost always looking for painters, project managers and crew leads who care about doing the job right. Every opening is listed on our Careers page along with an application form, and we read every application that comes in. If you would rather partner with us (nonprofits, community groups and general contractors included), reach out and we will point you to the right person.
